As a child, you could hardly keep me inside. Now, through my illustrations, I have continued my exploration of our natural world. Each life I draw begins with a deep study as I pen the details of their feathers to the unique curve of their eyes. For me, it is all in the details. 

Not hidden in my fantasy illustrations, you will find a nod to my heritage through Norwegian Rosemaling. It is the style of folk art from where my grandparents immigrated, and while my approach is far from exact, Norwegian Rosemaling directly influences the curves, the flow, and the shapes used in my designs.
